Philosophy

Welcome to Just Enough Heat.com, an on-line community for lovers of spicy food. My name is Isham Nelson the President and Owner of Just Enough Heat LLC. The team at Just Enough Heat.com doesn’t just like the Heat, we love the Heat, we just can’t get enough Heat! We love the taste, smell and endorphin rush of eating spicy food. We built this company to highlight our favorites, but we also have a burning passion for searching out and trying new and unusual spicy products.

Most people are creatures of habit. We find a product, sauce or restaurant item we like and we rarely stray. We are reluctant to try new things, because we are afraid of being disappointed. We stick to the familiar and miss opportunities to find new, better items that in turn would become our favorites. We never know, because we never try. The Heat Lovers Club was created with these type of people in mind. Among the many benefits Heat Lovers Club members enjoy is a monthly spicy food mailing. We scour the globe to bring to your doorstep products you more than likely have never tried. You never know, your new favorite may be in next months mailing. Although the Heat Lovers Club is great, Just Enough Heat.com is more than a just retail and membership site.

Just Enough Heat.com is an education site and a community. Learn about different peppers, recipes, the science Behind the Burn and much more. History

Ever since I was a child I have been drawn to spicy food. My father, my best friends and I often had jalapeño eating contests throughout my teenage years. This evolved to hot pepper eating contests of differing strengths, from Thai to habanero and many others. Peppers, hot sauce and spicy food gives me a sense of pleasure. Even today many of my family and friends cringe when I spice up nearly everything I eat. I decided to use my passion for heat to create a company for like minded (and mouthed) people.
